Sex Difference between the Suicide Population in China During 1987 and 2007

文章回顾了近年我国因自杀处理不当而引发的群体性事件,分析了1987-2007年我国历年的自杀人数及构成。分析表明：①近20年我国由高自杀率国家转变为低自杀率国家,②女性自杀率虽下降明显但仍高于世界平均水平,③青少年自杀人数比例下降、老年自杀人数相对比例上升,④农村自杀发生率是城市的3~5倍。最后,探讨我国妇女自杀死亡的社会原因,研究了自杀的防范措施。

This paper reviewed the mass incidents recent years which were caused by handling suicide events incorrectly in China.The size and structure of the suicide population between 1987 and 2007 were analyzed.The conclusions are ①China was changed from high suicide population country to low suicide population country during the past 20 years.②The suicide rate of female dropped recently,but is still higher than the world average.③The rate of suicide for young people decreased,but the rate for elderly people increased.④The rate of suicide in rural area is 3-5 times of the rate in urban area.The social economics causes of the female suicides were further studied,and the prevention procedures against the suicide were discussed at the last.
