The technical parameters, design ideas, working principle and the structural design of some key components of a multi-tool CNC pipe thread lathe were described. Its control system was SIMENS system. The machine is a high efficiency and muhifunctional new digital equipment with multi-tool cutting function, which is mainly used in some processes such as turning pipe taper and pipe thread.
