Pragmatic Approach to Conflict Talk Between Couples in Desperate Housewives

冲突话语是夫妻间不可避免的一种言语行为。该文基于言语行为理论,对《疯狂主妇》中夫妻间冲突话语进行定性和定量分析,归纳出五种夫妻间冲突话语涉及的语用策略,即反申诉式、反问质疑式、否定反驳式、否定反驳-反申诉综合式和转移话题式,并按照这些语用策略出现频率的高低对其语用功能进行详细的阐述。

Conflict talk is an unavoidable speech act between couples.Based on Speech Act Theory,qualitative and quantitative analysis on the conflict talk between couples has been carried out,mainly focus-ing on the pragmatic strategies involved.Pragmatic strategies used by the couples are identified,namely,counterclaim,opposing question,contradiction,contradiction-counterclaim and focus-shifting.The strat-egies are explained with samples according to their frequency.
