Based on the definition of varience-length curve,this paper analyzes its special application in optimizing the spinning process. An approach to ideal variance-length curve is discussed practically,with this the process resulting in yarh quality problem has been successfully located and further optimized. The target to improve the yarn qualities is achieved.
