论英语在中国——东盟自由贸易区商务中的作用

On the Status of English in the Business of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

中国—东盟博览会永久落户南宁、中国—东盟自由贸易区如期建成之后,国内许多学者都注意到东盟国家语言和汉语在未来自由贸易区内的地位和作用,但很少有人讨论英语在中国—东盟自由贸易区内的作用。本文作者拟从英语全球化、中国与东盟国家的英语教育、英语作为东盟组织规定的工作语言等角度来讨论英语在中国—东盟自由贸易区商务活动中的作用。

Since Nanning was chosen as the permanent location of China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was officially established, many scholars in China have noted the importance of the languages of ASEAN countries and Chinese in the region, but no discussion of the status of English in China-ASEAN Free Trade Area has been undertaken. By examining the issue from English globalization and English education in China and ASEAN countries, this paper presents the significance of English in business in this area.
