记得在5年前,我还是个高中生,在看了布莱恩·特菲尔（Bryn Terfel）在法国夏特莱剧院（Theatre du Chatelet）演唱《费加罗的婚姻》的DVD后,顿时被他的声音所吸引。之后看了很多个版本的《费加罗》,总觉得特菲尔才是我心中最完美的费加罗。但这个＂性感大熊＂似乎不再想被人们定位为＂费加罗专业户＂或者＂莫扎特男中音＂,他在尝试着各种新的角色,比如大都会刚刚上演的瓦格纳《莱茵的黄金》和即将上演的《女武神》中的沃坦。
OUTLINE/ On the evening of November 11,2010,Bryn Terfel performed an art song recital at Carnegie 1 Hall,accompanied by his long-time collaborator Malcolm Martineau.This recital marks the first of the Carnegie season's'Great Singers'series,which will be followed by Renee Fleming,Joyce DiDonato and Dorothea Roschmann.Terfel performed Schumann's Lieder before the intermission; the second half of the program included Gerald Finzi's Let Us Garlands Bring and Jacques Ibert's Chansons de Don Quichotte.
