OUTLINE / The ancient tale of The Orphan of Zhao has captured the popular imagination recently,thanks to director Chen Kaige's new film.Composer Mo Fan has been developing his second opera(after Thunderstorm) for almost five years.Similar to Thunderstorm,this new opera is not a commissioned work, hut emanates from the composer himself.
