摘要
目的:探讨静脉输入γ-氨基丁酸(GABA)对不同血脑屏障完整性时的大脑功能的影响。方法:用目测和药物定量脑电图(QPEEG)方法,对11例血脑屏障功能正常或受损患者单次输入不同剂量GABA前后的脑电背景活动进行动态观察和定量研究。结果:输入GABA后,3例血脑屏障功能正常患者的脑电背景活动无变化,而8例血脑屏障功能受损患者中,有2例腔隙性脑梗死患者和1例结核性脑膜炎患者的脑电背景活动无改变,余5例患者脑电活动有改变,表现为局部慢波增多或背景活动慢化,定量分析主要表现为8、0功率及功率百分比升高。结论:应用静脉输入不能透过血脑屏障的GABA联合QPEEG监测的方法,可了解疾病情况下血脑屏障的功能。GABA对脑电活动的抑制效应不仅与血脑屏障破坏的范围有关,而且还与输入GABA的总量和速度有关。
Objective: To study the effects of intravenousγ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) on the ab- normal brain and explore the feasibility of combination of intravenous GABA and quantitative pharmaco- EEG(QPEEG) to assess the integrity of the blood-brain barrier(BBB). Methods: Visual analysis and QPEEG were used to evaluate the dynamic effect of intravenous GABA on EEG in 11 patients with no~ ma[ or abnorma[ BBB. Results.. Five patients with disrupted BBB out of 11 subjects responded to intrave- nous GABA,while other six subjects including 3 patients with normal BBB and 3 subjects with changed BBB permeability did not change locally in the slow activity and slowing down in background activity of EEG was visually noted. The spectral analysis demonstrated that GABAdnduced EEG changes consisted of increased delta and theta powers and its'power percents. Conclusion: Combination of intravenous GABA which fails to across BBB with QPEEG can be used safely to investigate the state of BBB. The inhibi- tive effect on the background activity in EEG from GABA depends not only on the extent of BBB disruption but also on the dosage of GABA and intravenous infusion rate.
