The principle and the role of anticorrosion coatings,technical indicators and the impact of major factors were pointed out by discussing the reasons for the rapid development of steel structures and commonly used method of steel anticorrosion,the selection of steel structures anticorrosion coatings and problems which should be noted in the process of construction as well as construction technology were proposed.
