The Expression of Egr 1 in Benign Breast Lesion and Cancer Tissues

目的： 探讨早期生长反应基因（ Ｅｇｒ１） 在乳腺良性病变和癌组织中的表达及其与乳腺癌的临床病理联系。方法： 用免疫组织化学法对７５ 例乳腺病变组织进行 Ｅｇｒ１ 检测； 观察乳腺良性病变和乳腺癌的表达情况， 并比较其阳性率。结果： 乳腺良性病变可见相对高水平的 Ｅｇｒ１ 表达， 而乳腺癌 Ｅｇｒ１ 阳性仅１９ 例（４２ ．２ ％ ） ； Ｅｇｒ１ 表达与乳腺癌的组织学类型和淋巴结转移有关（ Ｐ＜ ０ ．０５） 。结论： Ｅｇｒ１ 表达的减少或消失可作为乳腺肿块恶性变的生物学标志并提示乳腺癌的预后不良。

Objective:To study the expression of early growth response gene 1(Egr 1)in benign breast lesion and cancar tissues and its relation to the clinicopathology of the breast carcinoma. Method:75 cases of different breast lesions were immunohistochemically stained for Egr 1 protein antibody. The positive staining rates of benign breast lesion and breast carcinoma were compared statistically.Result:Benign breast lesion had relatively high level Egr 1 expression and only 19 cases were Egr 1 positive in breast carcinoma. The expression of Egr 1 was related to histological types and to lymphatic metastasis of breast carcer(P<0 05). Conclusion: The decrease or loss of Egr 1 expression might take for biological markers of malignant transformation, and suggesting unfavourable prognosis of breast cancer.
