略论明清广东台风灾害的特点及危害

On the Characteristics of and Damage by Typhoons in Guangdong during the Ming and Qing Dynasties

研究相关史料可以发现,明清时期广东台风灾害具有频率高、时间集中、影响范围广、突发性强、成灾强度大以及连锁效应显著等特点,严重危害老百姓的生命财产安全,破坏农业生产,而且带来严重的社会问题,对生态环境也产生了一定影响。明清广东台风研究对当下的防风减灾工作仍有借鉴意义。

A study of related historical documents reveals that during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Guangdong was frequently struck by typhoons which often were unexpected and affected wide areas,caused serious disasters and chain reactions,inflicted great damage to people's lives and property,disrupted agricultural production,brought about serious social problems,and caused considerable damage to the ecological environment.The study of typhoon disasters in the period can provide some reference to the current reduction of disasters caused by typhoons.
