摘要
利用条形传递函数方法分析了二维扩散沟道光波导的传播特性,对两种典型折射率分布计算的数值结果与精确解及其它方法的结果进行了比较。
A novel technique has been
developed to treat the problem of wave propagation along diffused channel waveguides.This
technique is based on a Strip Distributed Transfer Function Method (SDTFM) which has
originally been applied to static and dynamic problems of two dimensional elastic bodies in
recently years.In the analysis,a region over the cross section of waveguide is first divided into
a number of subregions;each subregion is then divided into finite strips.Through introduction of
strip distributed transfer functions,the field of every subregion is presented in a semi exact and
closed form;the whole region is systematically assemblied from the subregions leading to a set
of linear algebraic eigenvalue equations.Solution of those equations yields the propagation
constant.Calculated results for graded index channel waveguides have been given and
compared with exacted numerical value and other methods,which reveal that the method has a
precision excellenter than other numerical methods.
