精英要精 通才要才

The Elite should be Proficient and the Generalist should have the Ability

大众化教育时期,必须正确处理好精英教育与通才教育之间的关系。现代的精英教育,它应当体现的是一种大众化平台上的高层次的"质"的教育,即建立在高深学问基础之上,培养处于知识学习和研究的最尖端、最前沿,并具有健全心智和完整个人的高素质人才的高标准教育;而通才教育的目的是为了培养具有宽广的知识视野的人,它是每一个个体个性培养、能力塑造、独立发展所必需的。因此,通才教育是每一种教育类型的基础环节,特别对培养精英人才,其意义更显重要。针对当前我国高等教育中"精英不精,通才不才"的状况,我国高等教育应当对大学进行科学定位与分层,树立多元化的高等教育质量观,并积极推动课程体系改革。

During the period of mass education, we must correctly handle the relationship between general education and the elite education. The modern elite education should reflect a high-level ＂quality＂ education on the mass platform that built on the basis of profound knowledge, that is the education to cultivate the high quality talent of sound mind and complete person who learning and research the most sophisticated, cutting-edge knowledge ~ and the general education is intended to develop a broad knowledge and perspective of the people, it is necessary for the individual training, ability shaping and the independent development. Therefore, the general education is the basical links for each type of education, especially is even more important to the cultivation of the elite. Aiming at the condition of ＂the elite is not proficient, the generalist is not have the ability＂ in the current higher education, the higher education should be scientific orientated and layered, establish a diversification concept of higher educational quality, and actively promote the curriculum reform.
