This paper introduces the concepts and features of RSS technology and general situation of the current application of RSS technology in the websites of domestic university libraries,and taking the library of Zhejiang University of Technology as an example,expounds the principles and realization methods of RSS new books recommendation program based on Oracle database and JSP language.
