利用PowerDesigner提供的数据库反向工程技术和数据库建模功能,结合其他应用软件,成功地将基于Visual Foxpro数据库系统的地质月报历史数据导入了Oracle数据库,实现了在开发新数据库的同时,兼顾使用历史数据,使相关信息管理工作在提高了效率和安全性的同时,保证了记录信息的连续性。

Combined with other application software,the author has succeeded in importing historical data of Geology Monthly into Oracle database from Visual Foxpro by using database reverse engineering technology and database modeling function offered by Power Designer,making it come true to use historical data while developing new database.All this not only raises the efficiency and security of management of related information but ensures the continuity of recorded information.
