中国北部马头蚧属一新种记述(同翅目:蚧科)

A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS SCYTHIA (HOMOPTERA:COCCIDAE) FROM NORTH CHINA

本文描述采自中国北部寄生在针茅属Ｓｔｉｐａｓｐ．植物上的蚧科１新种，即中华马头蚧Ｓｃｙｔｈｉａｓｉｎｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。模式标本保存在山西农业大学蚧虫研究中心。

A new species of the Genus Scythia belonging to Subfamily Filippiinae of Coccidae is described in this paper. The type specimens are deposited in the Research Center of Scale Insects, Shanxi Agricultural University. Scythia sinensis Wu, sp. nov. (Fig.1) Female adult almost circular, 3.2 mm～4.0 mm long, 2.6 mm～3.0 mm wide. Antennae degenerated, 3～4 segmented, apical segment with 5 setae. Legs stublike, 3-segmented, claw digitules sligtly knobbed. Spiracles large, their opening present in a tunnel, like a depression, the wall of which have a semicircular cluster of pentalocular pores. Spira cular setae absent. Spiracular pore band present, each with 23～35 pentalocular pores. Anal ring with rows of pores and 6 setae; anal plate triangular, each with 1 long and 3 short apical and 3 subapical and 2 ventral setae. Multilocular pores with 10 loculi form transverse bands on abdominal sternites. Large disk shaped pores form a longitudial band along the midline of meta thoracic and abdominal tergites. Small disk shaped pores distributed on both sides. Tubular ducts 25μm long and 2.5μm wide, the top 2/5 of that more sclerotized, numerous on both body surface. Body setae conical, apex sharp, ca 10 on head, and 7～9 longer setae on apex of each anal lobe. Holotype: ♀, China: Innermongolia (Barlin left Banner 44°N, 118°E), on Stipa sp., 30-Ⅶ-1989, collected by Li Jie. Paratypes: 3♀♀, samedateastheholotype; 4♀♀, China: Ningxia (Jingyuan 35.5°N, 106.5°E), on Stipa sp., 12-Ⅹ-1992, collected by Wang Jingyi; 6♀♀, Ningxia (Guyuan 36°N, 106.5°E), on Stipa sp., 27-Ⅸ-1991; 3♀♀, Shanxi (Yanggao 40.5°N, 113.7°E) on Stipa bungeana Trin., 14-Ⅷ-1995, coll. Wu San’an; 5♀♀, Shanxi (Huiyuan 39.6°N, 113.6°E), on Stipa bungeana Trin., 12-Ⅷ-1995, coll. Wu San’ an. Allied to S. cranium equinum Kiritchenko, 1938, but differs clearly from it in presence of spiracular pore band, anal ring with 6 setae, and having less setae on head and apex of anal lobe on dorsal side.
