翁同龢致张謇文稿系年考订

Investigation on the chronicles of Correspondences between WENG Tong-he and ZHANG Jian

翁同龢与张謇是中国近代史上两个重要的历史人物,他们在交往中的信函成为研究清末政治斗争、甲午战争和戊戌变法的宝贵文献材料,但2005中华书局出版的《翁同龢集》对集中收录的翁同龢致张謇文稿的系年考订有多处值得商榷。

WENG Tong-he and ZHANG Jian are two important historical figures in China＇s modern history. The correspon- dences between them are precious documents on which we can carry out research on the political struggle in the Late Qing Dynasty, Sino-Japanese War and the Reform Movement of 1898. However, there are some doubtful points concerning the chronicles of these correspondences in An Anthology of WENG Tong-he which was published by Chung Hwa Book Co.
