A Pondering over the "End of Literature"

针对学界关于文学是否面临终结的讨论,认为文学为人类通向自然家园提供了一条反思的路径,其本身所具有的审美属性以及作为话语的蕴藉属性,使得文学具有了一种独特的内涵。作为一种文化形态,文学以其特殊的属性广泛、持续而又深刻地影响着社会生活和人类自身,它不可能也不会走向终结。

This paper probes into the controversy whether literature is ending. Since literature has provided a way through which man thinks about himself and leads to the residence of nature, its innate aesthetic properties and its denotative features as a discourse has endowed itself with unique connotations. As a cultural typology, literature has affected and will continue to affect human beings and social life in an extensive, everlasting and profound way. It is impossible for literature to be ended.
