The article expounded the physiological nature of eyes pulses from the necessity of eyes pulses, nutrition, metabolism and characteristic of eyes pulses, and the control of five-Zang on eyes pulses. It put forward that blood vessels are the important tissue of the body, and they converge to the eyes. The abnormality of eyes pul- ses not only is the unattached diseases, but also can cause bleeding in ocular region or ischemia directly. Though eyes pulses are a part of the circulation of blood vessels, they have their own physiological natures such as fine structure, thin wall, nutrition balance of supply and demand, sensitive to blood and essence disproportion, counting on the regulation of liver and kidney, and so on. Adjusting and nursing eyes pulses objectively could be an effective method in promoting the cure rate of ophthalmocaee. At last it raised that investigating the physiological nature of eyes pulses is the clinical demand in ophthalmology and the way TCM must follow or take.
