80年代末,我国变压器的主要生产企业集中在江、浙、沪—带,全国大约有250余家。如今,变压器生产厂家已遍布全国各地,达千余家之多。尤其是广东、福建、四川一带发展尤为迅速。1988年全国变压器产量仅1亿只,总产值14.67亿元,发展到1996年产量为6亿只,总产值达54.9亿元。1997年产量可达7.1亿只,总产值可达65亿元,平均年增长率可达20％左右。

In 1997, China's output of electronic transformers reached 710million pieces with a total output value of 6.5 billion yuan,the average annual growth rate was about 20 percent between 1988-1999. The sales income realized by foreign-invested enterprises accounted for 40 percent of the total while the sales profit took up 75 percent of the total in the industry.
