This article discusses the importance of information security;describes three common techniques of information security protection： the firewall technology,information encryption,network anti-virus technology and their implementation method;reveals the fundamental strengths and weaknesses of the three protection technologies.For the computer information security is a systems engineering,so enhancing information protection capabilities needs to create a multi-level,comprehensive security protection system.
