With the development of the network information technology, people＇s requirement for network safety is becoming higher and higher. The safety of NOS is a very important part of network safety. However, how safe is our NOS？By taking the prevailing NOSsWindows 2003 for instance, the essay gives an initial analysis on the safety of NOS based on the defence to remote attakcing of the two NOSs; makes customers familiar with his or her NOS and further makes the defence over remote network better.The essay not only helps rising the safety＆risk anxiousness of the system administrators, but also helps enhancing the safety of the mainly used servers.
