According to the analysis of the design examples for the people＇s rainwater pump station by overpass in Dongguan,the paper illustrates some key technical points,including the calculation of collecting water areas,the selection of the recurrence interval,the time of collecting water,the forms of water collection,the forms of pump station,and the craft design and so on,and points out some aspects which should be considered for the drainage pipeline design of the overpass,so as to ensure the rainwater to enter the pump station smoothly.
