COSCO Southern Asphalt Shipping Co.,Ltd.is a COSCO Guangzhou wholly-owned subsidiary,the only one in China entirely specializing in bulk asphalt carriage on international and coastal lines.In the beginning of 2005,the company was inserted with the whole asphalt fleet apart from COSCO Guangzhou.Currently,the company owns and operates five 5000DWT specialization asphalt carriers,six 6000DWT carriers,and one 10,000DWT carrier.There are also four 6000DWT carriers under construction.According to the strategy of 'changing over from owing rescores to controlling',the company enhances ship charter business.With global business,COSCO Southern has established good relationship with many world top oil companies.With strong economic strength,reliable quality,credit standing and modernizing technical facility,the company pioneers the market continuously,makes medium-to long range plan and takes efforts to realize enterprise sustainable development.
