Carfentrazone is a new postemergence herbicide, primarily controlling broadleaf weeds.30g ai/hm2 provided 80% or better control of Polygonum convolvulus, Chenopodium album, and Rorippa palutris in wheat,Abutilon theophasti in maize, and Bidens tripartita and Potamogeton distinctus in rice. Carfentrazone caused a small amount of foliar necrosis on the three crop species, but yields were not affected.
