The causes of fecal dermatitis in patients with ileostomy are various. This paper analyzes the variety of causes and treatments. The enterostomal therapists and nurses of colorectal surgery should have a brief knowledge of diagnosis and care for this complication,and choose the right treatment according to the causes,which can reduce fecal stimulation and help healing of the skin lesions.
