卢梭美学视点中的沈从文(下)

如何看待与评价沈从文的浪漫主义美学思想及其在作品中的表现?长期以来,由于沈从文本人一句"我没有读过卢梭的书"而堵塞了将他与西方浪漫主义美学相互沟通的阐释路径。但事实上,众多史料与文献都证明沈从文曾受到卢梭思想的影响。而一旦打通与卢梭的联系,那么沈从文作品的思想与文学意义就大大超出过去所谓"乡土文学"的价值,而具有了反思现代性的浪漫主义特质。他的作品充分地表现了人类对于自然神性的景仰,对于自然人性的赞美,展现自然人性与现代文明的冲突,以及自然人性与异化的城市人格的冲突。沈从文所做的一切,就是要把自然人性鲜活健康的血液注入这日渐衰朽的民族肌体,重铸我们的民族性,使人格坚毅而刚烈,人性完美而纯正。

There are quite a lot of historical data and documents, in fact, proves that Shen Congwen had been influenced by Rousseau, although Shen denied it. Once the relationship to Rousseau is connected, Shen＇s ideological and literary significance of writing would surpass the so-called ＂vernacular literature＂ value of it. His writing has a romantic feature of re-thinking of modernity. His writings display fully human beings~ admire to natural deity and their praise to human nature, express the con- flicts between human nature and modern civilization and between human nature and alienated city peo- ple＇s personae. All he want is to fill fresh blood of human nature into the daily-decaying nation＇s body, to re-mould our nationality, and to build up a strong and stable personae and a perfect and pure human nature.
