Material Choice of Library Chronicles Compilation

近20年来图书馆史志编纂形成热潮,在史料的取舍上存在一些问题。取舍时应"详近",而不刻意"略古;"口述材料是弥补史料不足的较好方式,当前既有必要性,又有可行性,但选用时应慎加验证;要注意取材对图书馆专业特色的反映,并着重于本馆的历史特色;选取材料要全面客观,不人为地"选美弃丑"。

Library Chronicles compilation takes the formation of boom, but some questions of material choice exist in the historical data in the past two decades. Choice should be ＂detailed past＂ ,but not to deliberate ＂brief old＂ ,oral materials is a better way to make up for historical lack. At current it has both need and possibility, but the choice should be vigilant in verification. Draw attention to the response of the characteristics of the library profession and focus on the history of the library features. Selected material should stick to comprehensive and objective rule, not to ＂select beauty abandon ugly＂ artificially.
