Using Purgation Flexibly in TCM on Febrile Disease

通过对近代防治重大急性传染病经验整理,提出治疗温热病,要在深刻认识疾病本质前提下,不必墨守成规,灵活变通使用下法,将辨证与辨病有机结合,见微防渐,先证而治,早用通利,涤荡邪热,釜底抽薪,给邪以出路,防治病情恶化。认为既不违背辨证论治、整体观察的原则,又不拘泥固守,才能取得更好疗效,发挥中医中药治疗急性热性病的应有作用。

In this article, we summarized the clinical experiences of resisting the acute epidemic contagious diseases by applying the theory of the febrile diseases in the recent years. Further we proposed that only by using purgation flexibly （ especially ahead of time ） according to the syndrome differentiation under the direction of the Chinese medicine theory can we treat the epidemic febrile diseases effectively.
