摘要
收集了BL Lac天体S5 0716+714从1994年到2008年的观测数据,通过周期图法和Welch提出的修正周期图谱估计法分别计算了BL Lac天体S5 0716+714光学I、R、V三个波段的光变周期,不同波段的计算都得到该天体两个较为明显的光变周期。结果表明S5 0716+714存在两个主要光变周期:一个是存在约3.33年的周期,另一个是约2.60年的周期,这一结果较好的与Raiteri等人的结论相吻合。
Based on optical observation data for the I、R、V bands of BL Lacertae object S5 0716+714 during 1994 to 2008.some significant periods of S5 0716+714 light variation are obtained by means of the Periodogram analysis and Welch's Periodogram analysis.There exist two major periods.One is about 3.33 years for all bands.Another is about 2.60 years for all bands.These results are good agreement with the results found by Raiteri et al.Periodogram is effective to obtain periods of the time series of data.
