Two domestic conventional fourdrinier machines, with 2640 mm of width and 400 m/min of running speed, producing cultural paper have been running since last century, in order to improve the paper quality, the two-sideness and formation in particular, they were re- buih mainly by installing a top former which creates the opposite dewatering supplied by a domestic supplier. The dewaterlng speed on the wire increases and the two-sideness of the paper reduces, product quality upgrades significantly after application of the top former.
