The Monitoring of the Language-related Public Opinion and the Language Situation of Our Society

随着信息化、全球化进程的不断加快,语言的地位和价值空前凸现,一些发达国家都将语言战略视为国家战略发展的重要组成部分。同时我国当前的社会语言生活空前活跃,语言生活中各种矛盾凸显。透过语言舆情监测,一方面可以及时了解社会语言生活舆情动态,思考语言政策;另一方面也能促进政府、专家、公众之间的沟通,为构建和谐语言生活服务。

With the accelerating process of globalization and information,the status and value of language has received more attention.Some developed countries treat the language strategy as an important part of their national strategy.At the same time the language situation of our society is more dynamic than ever,highlighting the various contradictions.On the one hand,the monitoring of the language-related public opinion can keep abreast of its status and changes for offering better language policies;on the other hand it can help promote the communication between the government,experts and the public,serving the building of a harmonious language situation.
