摘要
德国的统一使得柏林有了新的发展机遇。但东、西柏林的长期分治，也使得柏林的发展面临了新的问题。柏林在建设新首都中，为消除东、西柏林城市空间结构的差异，增进柏林与外围地区的协调，采取了直视城市内向发展，加强内城边缘区重建，促进东、西柏林均衡发展的规划与建设策略。
The unification of Germany brought Berlin new development opportunities as thecapital, although it has to solve many problems due to years of division. Berlin shall eliminatethe structural difference across the Berlin Wall, and harmonize with the extended region.Certain strategies on city planning are greatly concerned such as internal development, reconstruction on the border of inner city, and a balanced development of East and West Berlin.
