讨论式教学法在国内外都相当盛行,在教学法体系中占有重要地位。利用讨论式教学法组织教学,教师作为"导演",对学生的思维加以引导和启发,学生在教师指导下进行有意识的思维探究活动。学生的学习始终处于"问题—思考—探—解答"的积极状态。这样的教学方法无疑体现"教师为主导,学生为主体"这一教学思想。就讨论式教学法的作用、基本条件、程序和在英语语法教学中的具体应用等方面作了系统的论述。

The paper focuses on the discussion teaching method and its application to English grammar teaching.The discussion teaching method is widely adopted in teaching both abroad and at home.It calls for the change of teacher＇s role.As a ＂director＂,teacher should enlighten students with problems and let them think actively to probe the problems with heated discussion from different aspects to arrive at the agreement of solutions to the problems.Thus,students are highly motivated and have a strong interest in learning,which conforms to the student-centered teaching principle and greatly improves learning and teaching.
