文章论述了建筑与环境是一个互相依存、互相映衬的有机整体。指出环境的构成有其要素及基本的设计手法，如地面的铺装、水体的处理、雕塑的放置、绿地的种植等，这些要素的处理效果，对环境的景观质量产生直接的影响。
Construction andenvironment is aninterdepenient and inter-reflectingorpoic whole. The structure ofenviroment is made up of its following factors and basic design methods, such as the pevement anddecoration of floor, the treatment of water, thepositionof sculptureand theplantation of greenbelts ,etc.These factorwill directly affect the atmo sphere of enviroment and the quality of scenery.
