从人口老龄化给社区建设带来的挑战入手， 论证了建设老年福利建筑的重要性和必要性。文章上篇引证了欧美、澳洲、日本等发达国家对老年福利建筑的实践经验， 并对日本林玉子先生的无障碍试验示范性住宅作了重点描述。下篇旨在探讨具有东方特点的家庭模式福利体系在中国发展的可行性， 为我国的老龄福利建筑设计提供了一些可及的新思路。

As the community construction is facing the grim situation brought by population aging,it is important and necessary to construct the housing for the aged .In the preceding part of the paper the author quotes kinds of practical experience in many developed countries such as Some Europion Countries 、America、Japan etc,also makes an emphasis introduction on Mr.Lin Yúzi ′s accessible sample house in Japan.In the latter part the author brought out some ideas on the development of the family_pattern welfare system in China to make some benifit to the housing construction for the aged.
