以范畴"old man"为案例来诠释从原型范畴理论视角下范畴化"old man"这一自然现象的优势并演绎其动态范畴化过程。通过研究得出成员old man涵括最多的典型特征,为该范畴原型。以该原型为参照点范畴化内部结构,成员ma-turea、dult隶属性最低,为边缘成员。

This paper probes into the category ＂old man＂,with the aim to testify its analytic advantages and illustrate its dynamic process of categorization from the perspective of prototypical category.It holds that the member old man with the most salient features is the prototype,which serves as reference point to clarify its internal relationship.In the category ＂old man＂,mature and adult with the least grade of membership are as non-so-clear instances.
