不断超越:一位开放式远程教育思想者、实践者的心路——评《站在远程教育的门槛上——徐皓远程教育研究文选》

Continue Beyond:The Idea of an Open and Distance Education Thinker and Practitioner——Comments on "Standing on the threshold of distance education:collection of XU Hao's papers in distance education"

随着信息通信技术、教育与学习理论的发展,中国开放远程教育进入跨越式发展时期,然而在实践与理论研究中仍有许多本源性的问题并没有得到解决,因此有必要对这些问题进行梳理和提升。《中国远程教育学者文丛》正是在这样的背景下应用而生。作为该文丛的八本书之一的《站在远程教育的门槛上——徐皓远程教育研究文选》收集了上海电视大学现任副校长徐皓教授1989年2010年的学术代表作。作为徐皓教授的同事,笔者有幸第一时间阅读该文选,并试着基于对徐皓教授的了解和对文选的理解,在探究徐皓教授学术思想发展历程的基础上,对30多年来中国特色开放远程教育的实践探索进行反思。因此,文章从怎么才是开放远程教育、如何开展开放远程教育,以及开放远程教育的未来发展等三方面对徐皓教授的教育思想进行了总结。笔者希望通过对作为思想者、实践者的徐皓教授学术历程、学术思想的回顾,以及对中国远程教育发展历程的反思,能对当下中国特色开放远程教育的实践发展和理论建构有所启发,并坚信开放的理念、问题的引领与创新举措将推动中国开放远程教育不断超越。

With the development of ICTs, education and learning theory, the open and distance education are stepping into the leap -forward development period, but in practice there are many problems in practice and theories have not been resolved. Therefore, it is necessary to sort out and solve these issues at first. Based on the background, ＂Corpus of Distance Education Researchers in Chi- na＂ emerged as the times required. As one of the eight books of Corpus, ＂Standing on the Threshold of Distance Education ： Collection of XU Hao~ Papers in Distance Education＂ is a collection of academic papers in 1989 - 2010 of Professor XU, vice - president of Shanghai TV University. As the colleagues of Professor XU, the authors were honored to read the book at first time, and tried to ex- plore academic ideas and growth of Professor XU and reflect on practice and exploration of distance education in China for 30 years. Therefore, the paper focused on what is open and distance education, how to deliver open and distance education, and what is the trend of open and distance education, to reflect on Professor Xu Hao~ educational ideas. The authors hope that the review of academic papers of Professor XU, who is a thinker as well as a practitioners, and reflection of theories and the practices of Chinag distance education, coul^t inspire the development and theory construction of distance education in China. In the end, the authors also firmly believe that the idea of open, problems and initiatives would promote open and distance education in China to surpass.
