高等教育研究的社会责任包含两个层面,一是高等教育研究对其所产生的社会影响负有责任;二是高等教育研究对社会自身的问题负有责任。高等教育研究的社会责任既是由高等教育研究自身特性所决定的,也是社会对高等教育研究的必然要求。高等教育研究社会责任的履行需要高等教育学科、研究者、政府、高校和社会等多方面合力推进。
