欧盟委员会在2008年时便宣布定于2011年起推行一项汽车车灯新标准，即要求新上市车辆配备LED昼间行车灯。近日，欧盟委员会正式发表声明称，新造轿车和小型货车从2011年2月7日起开始强制实行昼间行车灯，卡车租巴士自20：12年8月开始实行。
