摘要 基于本体的关系数据库访问在语义Web和数据库领域都引起了广泛关注,其基本思想是将本体作为一个统一的概念视图,使用户能够对已有的关系数据源进行透明访问.从本体的选择、本体和关系数据库之间语义映射的生成与维护、查询的重写与应答等几个方面入手,介绍了基于本体的关系数据库访问当前的研究进展,讨论了该技术当前面临的问题和今后的发展方向. Ontology-based relational database access is the hot spot both in Semantic Web community and database community, and it takes ontology as a unified concept view which helps users to access relational data sources in a transparent way. This article describes the current states of ontology based relational database access in following aspects: ontology choosing, mapping ( between ontology and relational database ) generation and maintenance, query rewriting and answering, and so on. We also discuss the problems need to be solved in the future, and point out future direction of this technology.
