A Review of League of Leftist Writer's Journals from 1930 to 1931

"左联"在1930至1931年间创办了一些期刊,计有:《文艺讲座》、《巴尔底山》、《五一特刊》、《世界文化》、《前哨》和《北斗》。通过这些刊物,左翼文艺界讲述了一些文学的基本原理,刊载了诸多左翼文学作品和理论,强化了左翼文学的阶级斗争意识;同时,注重介绍世界无产阶级文化的发展情形,并积极反抗国民党的强权、专制和对左翼文艺界的迫害。

The League of Leftist Writer founded some journals from 1930 to 1931, they were Lecture on Literature and Art, Parti- san, May Day Special Issue, World Culture, Outpost and Big Dipper. By means of these journals, the left - wing literary or art cir- cles narrated the fundamental on literature, published many left - wing literary works and theories, intensified the class struggle, consciousness in the left - wing literature, meanwhile, paid attention to reconmtending the development situation of the world proletariat culture, and hit back against the Kuomintang＇s power, autarchy and persecution to the left -wing literary or art circles.
