采矿方法和采场结构参数的正确与否是确定经济合理开发地下矿床的关键因素之一。1981年Golder公司以岩体分级为基础建立了岩体质量和采场跨度之间的经验关系。文章简要介绍了Golder公司创建的Mathew法设计采场结构参数的程序和步骤，并用这种方法初步确定了谦比西矿采场结构参数。

Correctness of the mining method and stope structural parameters is one of the key factors in determining the economically reasonable development of underground deposits. In 1981, Golder Co. eastablished an empirical relationship between the rock mass quality and the stope span on the basis of the rockmass classification. The procedures and steps of designing the stope structural parameters using Golder Co. -developed Mathew method is briefly described and Chambishi Mine's stope structral parameters have been preliminarily determined by the method.
