Great achievements have been made during the 23 years since the founding of Yanzhou Mining Group. The reason for the 'economic miracle' is all these achievements were realize by relying on sci tech advancement. The history of Yanzhou Mining Group development is exactly a history of developing coal industry by sci tech advancement. Centering around coal mining technologies, Yanzhou Mining Group focused the use of fully mechanized longwall mining with top coal caving and used it as main technique for coal production. Sci tech advancement promoted the development of productive forces at mines and the production capacity of mining crews and mines, productivity and economic profit realized have been improving by large margin. Sci tech advancement also improved the optimization and reforms of coal mine organization structure, creating necessary conditions for the readjustment of industrial structure and optimization. At the same time, the process of establishing and improving the modern enterprise system is quickened and the overall quality of the enterprise is greatly improved.
