The Scarlet Letter is the masterpiece of Nathaniel Hawthorne,one of the great writers in the nineteenth century America.Since it was published in the year of 1850,it has been reread in the circle of literary criticism..In the book,Hawthorne Portrays Hester Prynne,the heroine full of rebellious spirit.In this paper,I'd like to analyze the virtues of Hester,in addition,manifestations of her rebellious acts and the causes are mentioned meanwhile.
