奥地利SensorDynamics公司是一家汽车用微机电陀螺仪和惯性组合传感器的专业生产商,产品主要用于汽车防侧翻系统和电子稳定系统。目前SD公司凭借其QFN封装的陀螺仪和惯性系统系列进入非汽车应用市场,其代表性产品是大小仅为6×6×1.2mm的全集成六自由度惯性测量单元6DoF-IMU,目标市场包括导航系统、稳定平台、手持设备的动作捕捉系统等,也包括医疗应用领域的运动分析。本文给出了这个产品系列的技术及特性分析,并对其未来发展作出展望。

SensorDynamics is a well known manufacturer of automotive grade MEMS gyroscopes and inertial combo sensors mainly for Rollover and ESC. With a new family of gyroscopes and inertial combo sensors in QFN package SensorDynamics now enters the non-automotive market. The leading edge product of this sensor family is a fully integrated 6DoF-IMU in a tiny 6×6×1.2mm QFN40 package. SensorDynamics is targeting several applications in the consumer area like navigational systems, platform stabilization and motion capturing for handheld devices, but also medical applications like movement analysis.This paper describes technology and properties of the new product family and gives an outlook for future developments.
