The Interplay between Art and Politics：A Study of Langston Hughes＇s Poetry lately written by Professor Luo Lianggong,from the perspective of the interplay between art and politics,carries out a systematic study of Langston Hughes＇ poetry,creation and poetics with a great power of concept. This book,on the one hand,following the general law of poetry appreciation and poetry study,and on the other hand,introducing the mechanism of Hughes＇ political quest and poetics construction as a black artist,not only makes a sketch of Hughes＇ life of poetic creation,but also gives attention to the construction of macro-development of the history of Afro-American poetry,presenting both the blackness and the aesthetic universality of Hughes＇ poetry.
