摘要
超声相控阵技术对缺陷的检出能力,对缺陷定位、定量、定性表征的准确性,相关于相控阵仪器和系统特性的综合功能。本文介绍ASME BPVC(美国锅炉压力容器法规)最新版(2009增补)有关相控阵超声检测仪器和系统特性评价的具体要求,包括相控阵:(1)声束轮廓的测定;(2)声束变角范围的测定;(3)阵元激活性的测定;(4)聚焦能力的测定;(5)参数和数据显示的计算机控制;(6)探头楔块衰减和延迟补偿的评价:(7)仪器垂直线性和水平线性及动态范围的评价。期望为国内承压设备相控阵超声检测的有效应用和标准化,提供法定依据和有用借鉴。
The capability of detecting flaws and the accuracy of locating, sizing and characterizing flaws by phased-array ultrasonic technology are related to the validity of phased-array instruments and systems. This article described the specific requirements for evaluating performance characteristics of phased-array ultrasonic examination instruments and systems regulated in the latest edition of ASME BPVC (2009b), including determination of phased-array's (1) beam profile; (2) beam steering limits; (3) element activity; (4) focusing ability and assessment of phased-array's (5) computer control of parameters and data display; (6) wedge attenuation and delay compensations; (7) instrument amplifying linearity and time-base linearity. The intention is to provide an authorized basis and a source of reference for effective application and standardization of phased-array ultrasonic examination for pressure equipment in our country.
