The theory of＂language instinct＂by Keping,which holds the view that language is a universal existence as well as human＇ s instinct,is examined in the article.The theory is of great significance to second language teaching.Namely,the learner,as the beginning of learning,is the only center in the process of learning and the purpose of learning.Thus,new requirements have been put forth for our teaching principle,teaching method, teacher,teaching material and test.
