八年制医学生外科学临床见习教学体会

Exploration on surgery clinical teaching to eight-year medical students

临床见习是医学生由理论学习向临床实践的重要转折。八年制医学生是一种新的培养方式,目标是毕业时达到临床医学博士研究生水平。结合八年制医学生自身特点及培养目标,外科学临床见习由各三级学科主治医师或以上职称医师带教,使用多种教学方式加强品德和伦理学教育、重视"三基"训练和临床思维的培养、灌输循证医学观念和科研意识、促进医学英语学习,取得了较好的学习效果。

Clinical rotations are very important for medical students to learn and gain clinical skills which are necessary for them to become exceptional physician to provide the finest health care to patients in future.Medical students to be trained in eight-year program in medical school is a reform of higher medical education in China.Students in this new designed program will be eligible to obtain medical doctorate degree after they have completed all training courses and graduated from medical schools.According to training requirements for the medical students in eight-year program,many kinds of teaching modes have been applied for help students to have great training experiences in their clinical rotation in the department of surgery in order to strengthen surgical knowledge,medical ethic education and medical English,including paying more attention to basic knowledge and skills,teaching concept of evidence based medicine,emphasizing the importance of correct clinical thinking and scientific research consciousness.Advanced attending surgons or associate professors are responsible for clinical teaching of their respective fields.It was concluded that clinical teaching experiences contribute the success of training medical students in eight-year program to become outstanding physicians.
